White Oak Pediatrics
Affectionately known as "Dr. I."  Dr. Impeduglia, a native of Italy, earned his
medical degree at the University of Rome, La Sapienza.  Soon after graduation,
Dr. I. moved to the Washington area and was a fellow scientist at the National
Institute of Health in Bethesda. He served his pediatric residency training at St.
Vincent’s Hospital in New York City and became Chief Resident of Pediatrics.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Impeduglia returned to Maryland and
joined White Oak Pediatrics in 1989. He is certified by the American Board of
Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Dr. I and his
wife Stefania have three adult sons, Roberto, Marco and Carlo, all former
patients of White Oak Pediatrics.  
Julianne Greene is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her
nursing degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in 1991 and
worked as a pediatric nurse at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia. She
received her masters in nursing and her certification as a pediatric nurse
practitioner from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. In 1995
where she remained on staff as a Clinic Associate. She has been with White
Oak Pediatrics since 1995. She is married to Chris and has two young boys.
She enjoys skiing and swimming with her kids and coaching for Girls on the
Run of Montgomery County.

Giovanni Impeduglia, M.D.,F.A.A.P.
Karen Lanni is a board certified pediatrician who was born and raised in
northern New Jersey.  After graduating with a Bachelor's in Science in Biology
from the University of Notre Dame, she moved back to New Jersey where she
attended UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  She received her
pediatric training from St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia
and served as chief resident for an additional year at Albert Einstein Medical
Center in Philadelphia.  After meeting her husband, she moved to Maryland to
pursue her career and start a family.  Karen worked for 8 years in Southern
Maryland before joining White Oak Pediatrics in 2009.  She feels it is a
wonderful privilege to have the opportunity to take care of so many children
and their families.

Jillian Coolidge, C.P.N.P.
Jillian Coolidge is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who grew up on the
North Shore of Boston.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in
nursing from Boston College in 2011.  She moved to New York City and began
working at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx.  While at
Montefiore, she first worked on an Infants/Pediatric Cardiologu unit and then in
an outpatient pediatric complex care clinic.  In 2016, Jillian graduated from New
York University with a Masters of Science degree in Advanced Practice Nursing
with a specialty in Pediatric Primary Care.  She then moved to Washington, D.C.
with her fiance and wheaten terrier, where she now lives. She has a special
interest in adolescents and children with chronic medical conditions. She
enjoys going on walks with her dog, cycling, and cooking.   
Pam Jacobs, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Pam Jacobs is a board certified pediatrician with strong roots in
the Maryland area.  She grew up near the White Oak office and
received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University
of Maryland. After completing her residency in pediatrics at the  
Childrens Hospital in Pittsburgh, she served in the National Health
Services Corps in Chicago. Upon returning to Maryland, she worked in
Columbia both in office practice and emergency room. For the last
seven years, she has been teaching at the University of Maryland
Medical School.  She and her husband, Rich have two children and
live in Columbia, Md.
Victoria is a Massachusetts native who has spent most of her life in
Maryland.  She began her nursing career as an RN in 1988 working with
pre-mature infants in the Neonatal ICU at the Washington Hospital Center.  
In 1999, she received her Masters of Science Degree in nursing and
became certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the University of
Maryland at Baltimore.  She has worked with children of all ages for 25
years.  Her special interests include preventative care and nutrition.  Victoria
is married and has 5 children.  She enjoys running, spending time with her
family, and reading.
Victoria Schwarzenberg, MSN, C.P.N.P
Kathryn was born in Baltimore, MD and grew up in Winchester, VA. Kathryn
graduated from the University of Virginia in 2009 with a bachelor's in nursing and
from the University of Maryland in 2014 with a master's in the pediatric nurse
practitioner program. She has worked in a pediatric primary care office as nurse
practitioner since 2014. Prior to her career as an NP, Kathryn worked as an
inpatient pediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant nurse at the Johns
Hopkins Children's Center. Kathryn enjoys patients of all ages, but especially
likes working with school age children. She is looking forward to promoting health
and well-being in her patients. Kathryn lives in New Market, MD with her husband
and daughter. In her free time she likes traveling, cooking, and spending time
with her family.

Dr. Valsangkar received her medical degree from the University of Michigan
medical school. After completing her pediatric residency training at Children's
National Medical Center in Washington DC, she also obtained a Master in
Public Health from Harvard University, where she was a Reynolds Foundation
Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship.
At White Oak Pediatrics, Dr. Valsangkar is affectionately know as "Dr Bina", and
she practices general pediatrics, caring for children and adolescent from birth
to young adult. Dr. Bina's interest and passion in caring for children goes well
beyond the boundaries of White Oak Pediatrics. She is a pediatric and newborn
technical advisor for the Saving Newborn Lives Program at Save the Children,
where she works with Ministries of Health in Malawi, Uganda, and Ethiopia to
reduce neonatal mortality through health programming, policy, and  
program-based research.   Dr. Bina lives in Washington DC and she is fluent in
Spanish and French.
